Different place have different Resources. Same as Ghodaghodi Area has its own kind of resources that makes its amazing environment by itself. Ghodaghodi Area is fully covered with Natural Resources. Natural Resources means those resources which are naturally available in the environment including land, climate, Water, forest, minerals, air, , etc. Ghodaghodi lake is surrounded by dense forest and wide range of surface of fresh water. It is our natural capital.

Did you know that  forests are called the lungs of the environment? They are a factory of oxygen and several other important natural resources. Can humans live without their lungs? Similarly, the environment too would not survive without forests.

Ghodaghodi area is rich in Forest resources from the past. Forest resources are considered  perquisites for development of better environment.Following are the necessary things to have a forest for healthy environment.

• Basis of preserving natural eco-system: Forest is the source of oxygen. Survival of humans beings and other animals without forest is impossible. Forest is the Natural habitat of various kind of species. so, it helps to prevent previous species from extinct which helps to preserve bio-diversity.
• Promotion of tourism:  Forest enhances the natural beauty of the Environment. Forest management can preserve rare wild lives: elephant,tiger,rhinos,musk deer, etc. have been the sources of tourists' attraction in various wild life conservations in Nepal.
• protect us from Natural disaster:  Forest prevent environment from a natural event such as a flood, earthquake, or hurricane that causes great damage or loss of life.

In the surface and underground of Ghodaghodi Area there is availability of huge amount of water.The name of Ghodaghodi lake itself sufficient to describe the water resources of this area. Following are the reasons to conserve Ghodaghodi lake regarding water resources.

1. Development of Tourism: It is rich in streams, fresh water, lakes, and ponds arround the environment. so that it is the sources of  attraction of tourists by which its bring economic development of Nepal.
2. Basis of preserving Aquatic Ecosystems: Preservation of water resources is positively impact to the Aquatic species and Aquatic plants. The value of Aquatic ecosystems in preserving biodiversity is only beginning to be appreciated, aided by the growing popularity of bird-watching, scuba diving and coral reef tourist visits that are educating many people about the importance of protecting these fragile ecosystem.
